Harper Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a well established travel organisation seeking a Travel Procurement Manager to join their Transport Procurement team. This remote role is central to the procurement and coordination of flights across multiple brands, ensuring all group travel requirements are fulfilled efficiently, accurately and in line with commercial expectations.

The successful Travel Procurement Manager will take ownership of sourcing, pricing and booking flights, maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring all travel arrangements run smoothly from initial enquiry through to departure. 

Applicants must have proven tour operator procurement experience and must be able to attend Nottingham periodically for team collaboration, training and operational meetings.

Role Involvement
• Travel procurement – leading the sourcing, pricing and booking of flights for group travel, ensuring all arrangements meet budget, route and scheduling requirements. 
• Supplier relationship management – building and maintaining strong relationships with airline seat providers and consolidators to secure competitive rates and efficient booking processes. 
• Travel coordination – liaising with suppliers to confirm seat availability, routes and schedules, ensuring all travel plans align with group needs. 
• Booking administration – managing schedule changes, passenger amendments, advance check ins and ensuring all updates are processed accurately. 
• Invoice verification – checking and processing invoices in line with commercial terms and ensuring compliance across all bookings. 
• Cross brand collaboration – working closely with colleagues across brands via remote communication channels to resolve queries and maintain smooth coordination. 
• System accuracy – updating internal systems with accurate booking information, ensuring all data is current and compliant. 
• Industry awareness – staying informed on aviation and travel industry updates to maximise commercial opportunities and operational efficiency. 
• Cross team support – working alongside other sourcing managers to ensure coverage during leave and peak travel periods. 
• Out of hours coordination – organising additional team support for peak travel times to assist the Out of Hours Service Team.
Skills & Experience Required
• Essential tour operator procurement experience. 
• Strong understanding of airline seat providers and flight consolidators. 
• Exceptional attention to detail. 
• Strong commercial acumen. 
• Excellent organisational and communication skills. 
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks. 
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a remote team. 
• Confidence building and maintaining supplier relationships. 
• Experience managing group flight reservations. 
• Awareness of flight reservation systems and processes. 
• Ability to attend Nottingham periodically for business needs.
