Marekting Executive – Digital Merchandising
Harper Recruitment Group are working in partnership with an established e?commerce organisation seeking a semi?experienced Marketing Executive to support the Digital Merchandising Manager with targeted trade marketing activity, customer engagement and product promotion. This role plays a key part in driving trade awareness, supporting sales growth and delivering consistent marketing output across digital and offline channels.
The successful Marketing Executive will work closely with the Digital Merchandising Manager to deliver trade campaigns, manage customer segmentation, generate leads and support product updates across the full marketing cycle.
Role Involvement
• Trade campaign delivery -promoting products directly to retailers, distributors and key accounts through targeted trade marketing activity.
• Customer segmentation -identifying customer groups for tailored outreach and personalised messaging.
• Direct outreach -supporting email marketing, product launches and promotional offers to drive engagement.
• Lead generation- identifying and converting new trade customers through proactive marketing activity.
• Sales support -providing product updates, pricing information and repeat?order growth support.
• Offline mailers -assisting with the creation and coordination of offline mailers to support trade promotions and seasonal campaigns.
Skills & Experience Required
• Trade marketing experience within a product?led or wholesale environment.
• Strong communication skills with confidence engaging trade customers.
• Analytical capability to segment customers and identify outreach opportunities.
• Sales awareness with an understanding of product positioning and repeat?order growth.
• CRM familiarity preferred, with confidence managing customer data and outreach lists.
• Proactive approach to generating leads and supporting the wider merchandising and marketing function.
• Content accuracy when preparing product updates, pricing information and promotional material.
