Harper Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Property Administrator to join a well-established business based in Nottingham.
This is a varied administration role offering the opportunity to work within the property sector, supporting the team with the smooth running of day-to-day processes and ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service.
The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable and confident dealing with a variety of people. You don't necessarily need previous property experience — strong administration skills and a willingness to learn are just as important.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the wider team.
- Managing and updating records, databases and internal systems.
- Preparing and processing a range of documents and paperwork.
- Supporting the progression of property-related processes.
- Coordinating appointments, inspections and other arrangements.
- Communicating with customers, clients and external contacts by telephone and email.
- Following up outstanding information and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Assisting with compliance, referencing and associated administration.
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers and other third parties when required.
- Ensuring information is recorded accurately and kept up to date.
- Providing general administrative support across the office.
- Delivering a friendly, professional and efficient service at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous administration or customer service experience.
- Is highly organised and has excellent attention to detail.
- Can manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Has confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new computer systems.
- Is proactive and takes responsibility for getting things done.
- Can work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Has a professional, approachable and positive attitude.
- Is keen to develop their skills and build a career within the property sector.
Previous property experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
