Job Role: Warehouse Operative
Salary:     upto £18k
Hours:     6am-2pm / 1pm-9.30pm

We are working with a leading global IT provider who are expanding their warehouse function in Nottingham. They are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to be responsible for the warehousing function and growing despatch team. The role will support a busy 24 x 7 fast moving warehouse environment ensuring stock is received, put away and stored to meet business needs.

Duties will include

• Ensuring stock is controlled and all orders are picked and shipped correctly
• Stock taking and maintaining accurate stock levels
• Oversee the Picking and packing stock function
• Provide late and/or early shift cover
• Maintaining an organised and clean warehouse floor
• Utilising IT tools including and warehousing databases
• Supervising and training Despatch staff to company standards

Skills and experience required

• Previous experience in a Warehouse role to supervisory level
• Great communication skills
• Flexible approach to hours of work
• Folk lift truck license
