Sales Consultant
£27,000 + 6 monthly bonus Permanent Nottingham
Full Time (including mandatory Saturday working with a day off in the week)

Harper Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a well established organisation within the trade sector. They are looking for a friendly service? Focused Sales Consultant to support customers at their busy Nottingham site. This role combines relationship? Led sales, trade counter support and hands? On warehouse duties, offering a varied and active working environment.

The successful Sales Consultant will enjoy building rapport with customers, offering helpful product advice, and naturally identifying opportunities to upsell without any pushy sales approach. This position includes Saturday working, with a scheduled day off during the week.

What will the role involve?

• Supporting trade counter customers with product advice and order processing

• Building strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business

• Upselling through service by recommending suitable additional products

• Providing product knowledge and guidance to customers

• Assisting in the warehouse with picking, packing and stock movement

• Heavy lifting duties as part of daily operations

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a smooth customer experience

• Maintaining awareness of industry trends and product updates

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience in trade sales or customer service is preferred

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport

• A service first mindset with a natural approach to upselling

• Physical capability for heavy lifting and hands on warehouse work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Availability to work Saturdays with a day off in the week

• A positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to excellent service
