Service Engineer

Job Role: Service Engineer (Electrical)
Salary: £33000+ Shift allowance
Location: Burton-On-Trent includes International Travel
Hours:  07.30-16.00 (40 hours per week)

Harper Recruitment group are working in partnership with a leading specialist manufacturer of industrial electrical products and equipment.

An exciting opportunity to travel the world and have a rewarding career, reporting to the Service Manager you will be responsible for the service and repair of equipment within the workshop and on customer sites worldwide.

What will the role involve?

• Servicing and repairs
• Live electrical testing
• Measuring and recording values of resistance and insulation
• Ensuring all wiring meets legislation
• Commissioning new equipment onsite
• Assisting customers with technical assistance and breakdowns
• Assisting within the workshop

The successful Customer Service Administrator will meet the following criteria:

• Electrical understanding with the ability to read drawings
• General understanding of mechanical installations
• ECS card beneficial
• Ability to multi-task and adapt
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
