Kegworth, Hybrid (1 day a month in the office)
£35,000 – £40,000 basic & performance bonus
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Harper Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fast-paced UK property business specialising in buying and selling property, helping keep transactions moving and prevent chains from collapsing. They are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Progressor to take ownership of a high-volume property pipeline. This is a proactive, hands-on role requiring strong transaction management skills and a commercial approach. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues at an early stage, managing stakeholders effectively, overcoming delays and ensuring transactions progress efficiently through to completion. 

Responsibilities

• You will take responsibility for a high-volume of property transactions at any one time, overseeing both the purchase and sale of stock
• Proactively identify risks, delays and potential blockers before they impact timescales
• Oversee the conveyancing process and work closely with solicitors to resolve outstanding matters and keep transactions moving
• Challenge solicitors, estate agents, buyers and other stakeholders where progress is not being made
• Be comfortable pushing back and holding external parties accountable to agreed deadlines
• Identify and resolve common transaction issues including enquiries, title matters, searches, mortgage delays and documentation
• Work with new-build developers, estate agents and solicitors to build strong, effective working relationships
• Liaise with relevant parties around property surveys and demonstrate a sound understanding of survey levels
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline information, ensuring all transactions have clear next steps and target dates
• Provide regular updates on transaction progress, risks and expected completion dates
• Negotiate and communicate with a focus on certainty, speed and successful completion
• Support and work collaboratively with the existing Sales Progressor, providing senior-level experience and guidance where required
• Escalate issues appropriately and take ownership of resolving problems rather than allowing transactions to stall

• Strong experience in property sales progression, property transactions, acquisitions, disposals or similar - with a strong practical knowledge of the UK conveyancing process
• Proven experience taking a high-volume of transactions through to exchange and completion
• A good understanding and proven experience in identifying common reasons property transactions become delayed and resolving them
• Strong telephone communication skills and the confidence to pick up the phone and resolve issues directly.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with a strong sense of ownership
• You will have the foresight to spot potential problems before they become blockers and the confidence to challenge other parties when deadlines are at risk

• £35,000 – £40,000 basic salary
• Quarterly Performance-related bonuses
• Fully remote working with an expectation to attend the office once a month. Due to this requirement, candidates should ideally be located within approximately a two-hour travel radius of Kegworth
