Job role: Receptionist
Pay rate: £12.21ph
Position: Holiday cover 5th Januuary - 23rd January
Location: Nottingham City Centre
Hours: Monday-Friday office hours
Must be available to start Monday 5th January 2026
Harper Recruitment Group are thrilled to announce an opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to help cover holiday for three weeks in Janaury with our esteemed client, a leading independent construction and interior specialist.
You will be responsible for welcoming all external visitors, providing a friendly and welcoming service.
Duties will include:
- Welcoming external visitors
- Efficiently managing incoming calls in a timely manner and directing them to the appropriate personnel
- Coordinating meeting room booking and arranging refreshments/catering as needed
- Ensure all office equipment is in working order
- Handling incoming and outgoing post
- Print/collate all documents
- Ensuring the maintenance of up-to-date file systems
Skills and experience required
- Great communication style with a welcoming and professional telephone manner
- MS Office Excel and Outlook - Basic level
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven administrative experience
