Job Role: Procurement Manager
Location: Nottinghamshire (North)
Salary: up to £55k + Attractive benefits package and flexible working

Harper Recruitment Group are proud to be working in partnership with a market leading software solutions business. An exciting brand-new opportunity has become available within the Procurement team.

You will be an experienced procurement professional with a background in building successful strategies and implementing cost saving initiatives.

Ideally you will have an IT/Technology/Electronics industry background with the ability to take complete ownership of direct spend for the hardware category.

What does the day to day look like?

• Management of direct spend
• Drive product roadmap, identifying supplier base
• Implement short to long term cost saving and commercial strategies
• Negotiation of terms and costings
• Responsible for department processes and procedures  
• P&L reporting/analysis
• Building relationships with various departments and stake holders
• Presenting at all levels in the businesses, providing recommendation and execute change

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment
• Proven outsourcing experience
• Excellent relationship builder with strong communication skills
• IT/Technology/Software/Electrical/Manufacturing background
• CIPS qualification or part qualified
