Harper Recruitment Group are working in partnership with an amazing and inspirational sporting association to find their next Learning and Development Manager. This is a standalone role for a self-starter who will be responsible for producing the L&D plan for the organisation. The successful Learning and Development Manager will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the internal workforce are supported to reach their full potential.

What will the role involve?

• Identify Learning and Development needs through data gathered from performance reviews and consultations with Line Managers
• Encourage the use of individual training plans
• Evaluate learning tools and create reports to demonstrate ROI
• Manage internal and external supplier relationships
• Maximise opportunities available via the Apprenticeship Levy
• Offer careers advice and guidance in support of internal career development
• Support the wider team with succession planning and organisational development
• Create and have ownership of the Learning and Development plan for the organisation

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a similar L&D role essential
• Experience of designing, delivering and evaluating a L&D strategy
• Track record of implementing training interventions both inhouse and through external suppliers
• Good report writing and data analysis skills
