Job Role: HR Recruitment Assistant – Part Time
Location: Pride Park, Derby
Salary: £11.14 per hour
Hours: 22.5 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays)

Harper Recruitment Group has an exciting opportunity to join a busy HR department as a Recruitment Assistant. You will provide administrative and general support to the Recruitment Lead in all aspects of their recruitment process. You will be committed to providing a positive, quality and efficient service to potential candidates and will build strong working relationships with internal and external teams. The role is very fast paced and requires excellent attention to detail, with a warm personality and a good sense of humour!

The role is to cover maternity leave and is initially available on a 10-month fixed term contract basis with a quick start.

Duties will include:

  • Placing internal and external adverts & shortlisting suitable candidates
  • Dealing with candidate queries and arranging assessments/interviews
  • Co-ordinating the recruitment team to undertake interviews 
  • Conducting assessments and feedback to candidates
  • Conducting selection interviewing as a member of a recruiting panel
  • Checking identification documents in line with company standards
  • Liaising with Agencies, building positive working relationships
  • Printing all recruitment paperwork
  • Auditing candidate packs
  • Ensure all HR policies and processes are adhered to by managers and staff
  • Developing good working relationships ensuring requests for information and queries are responded to expediently
  • Maintaining employee files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with Data Protection Legislation
  • Updating and maintaining staff database information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Liaising with the resourcing department to ensure adequate staffing levels are fulfilled
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of interview and assessment processes
  • General administrative duties as required

 

You will need:

· A good general level of education including GCSE Maths & English at Grade C or above, or equivalent qualification

· Previous administrative experience

· A mature and professional approach

· Previous recruitment experience
