HR Officer 
£25,500 pro rata + Benefits 

Are you looking for a part time role that will provide you with a flexible work life balance and a successful and enjoyable career in HR?

As a HR Officer you will work as part of a supportive, well-established team (22 hours per week flexi) You will have a keen interest in HR as a sector and be a driven, people focused, and service orientated. 

Duties will include:

  • Supporting Line Managers providing first line advice on HR policies and ER cases
  • Coordinating new starter inductions and supporting the onboarding process 
  • Analyse data and produce reports when required 
  • Log absences, monitor probation periods, parental leave requests on the HRIS database
  • Create and update employee records adhering to GDPR and the data protection act 
  • Process pre-employment checks and check proof of right to work
  • Contribute to a variety of exciting ad-hoc HR projects 

Skills and experience required:
  • Previous experience in an office-based people focused role essential 
  • Experience in HR or recruitment advantageous 
  • Knowledge of HR databases advantageous but full training provided 
  • Confident MS Office suite – Word and Excel essential 
  • Zoom – used for group chat and daily meetings 
  • Positive and energetic personality with a drive to develop a HR career
