Job Role: HR Business Partner

Location: Derby

Hours:     Monday - Friday 

Salary:    £37.2k

Harper Recruitment group are working in partnership with a leading health care provider with over 700 employees, due to an exciting period of growth they have an opportunity to join their Human Resource department as a HR Business Partner.

Reporting to the Head of HR you will provide comprehensive and pragmatic solutions to the organisation inline with company values, procedures and legal requirements.

What does the role involve?

  • Proactively partner & collaborate with relevant staff and management to deliver solutions to achieve business objectives
  • To ensure compliance with Employment legislation
  • Influence, coach and mentor line management in the delivery of best practice 
  • Working on recruitment/selection, induction and L&D engagement strategies 
  • Ensure an excellent generalist HR service is provided in order to progress strategic HR
  • Create reports for trends and business analysis 
  • Ensure the delivery of HR KPI's to include absenteeism, retention, engagement and others
  • To contribute and deliver HR projects 
  • Advise and support manages on all Employee relations, recruitment and L&D matters
  • Create and encourage a performance culture through improving 
  • Review the absence cases with a view to analysing and identifying trends

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience within a HR BP or similar role 
  • Strong generalist HR experience within a fast paced environment 
  • CIPD level 5 or working toward 
  • Experience of managing complex HR issues including TUPE, redundancies, sickness and dismissals 
  • Excellent relationship builder with strong communication skills
  • IT Savvy - confident using excel
