HR Assistant 
2-3 month contract 
Up to £29,000k 
Nottingham city centre– onsite 
Monday – Friday 8.30am-4.40pm 

Harper Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a highly reputable organisation based in Nottingham. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Assistant to join the HR department, where you will be responsible for vital HR and onboarding administration, ensuring all new employee information is compliant. 

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately input and maintain confidential employee information within the HRIS system
• Provide administrative support throughout the onboarding process for new starters
• Review and audit new starter documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Maintain up-to-date employee records, ensuring all information meets company and regulatory requirements
• Issuing contracts of employment and offer letters
• Obtaining references and coordinating preemployment checks 
• Processing DBS checks ensuring compliance procedures are strictly adhered to

What we’re looking for: 

• Previous experience in a similar HR role essential 
• Must be available to start immediately
• Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality 
• Experience using HRIS software 
• Excellent attention to detail and process led
• Sophisticated communication skills and emotional intelligence
