Harper Recruitment group are working in partnership with a leading healthcare provider with over 700 employees, due to an exciting period of growth they have an opportunity to join their Human Resource department as a HR Advisor.
You will be qualified to or working towards your CIPD qualifications and have a proven track record managing a range of Employment relations and absence matters.
What does the role involve?
Provide generalist advice and support to managers on a range of operational Human Resource issues, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
Advising and supporting line managers on a range of employee relations issues & disciplinary cases
To support managers in the resolution of grievances
Give advice and support to line managers on both short term and long term absence, liaising with key stakeholders as appropriate
Undertake comfort calls to staff following a period of absence
Ensure robust systems and processes are in place to ensure comprehensive absence case history of an employee including reason for absence, absence patterns, is available
Producing absence management activity reports and statistical data on a monthly basis
Review the absence cases with a view to analysing and identifying trends
Who are we looking for?
Proven experience within a HR function (HR Generalist, HR Officer, HR Advisor)
Must have extensive knowledge of absence management
Excellent relationship builder with strong communication skills
