HR Advisor

Job Role: HR Advisor (ER & Absence Management)

• Provide generalist advice and support to managers on a range of operational Human Resource issues, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures 
• Advising and supporting line managers on a range of employee relations issues & disciplinary cases
• To support managers in the resolution of grievances
• Give advice and support to line managers on both short term and long term absence, liaising with key stakeholders as appropriate
• Undertake comfort calls to staff following a period of absence
• Ensure robust systems and processes are in place to ensure comprehensive absence case history of an employee including reason for absence, absence patterns, is available
• Producing absence management activity reports and statistical data on a monthly basis
• Review the absence cases with a view to analysing and identifying trends

• Proven experience within a HR function (HR Generalist, HR Officer, HR Advisor)
• Must have extensive knowledge of absence management
• CIPD
• Excellent relationship builder with strong communication skills
• IT Savvy
