Finance Officer

Job Role: Finance Officer (Education)

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £10-12ph

Hours:  Monday - Friday 37 hours

Harper Recruitment Group is proud to partnering with an Education Trust based in Nottingham who are looking for an experienced Finance Officer on a contract basis until the end of July 2021.

The successful candidate will have worked within an Education/Trust or Charity sector, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the accounts function.

What will the role involve?

Managing purchase ledger

Placing authorised purchases with suppliers and inputting onto finance system

Posting payments to accounts

Producing invoices and statements

Raising purchase orders

Recording and reconciliation of transactions

Providing support to the credit control

Responsible for petty cash and expenses

Manage administration of school pre-payment scheme

The ideal candidate needs:

Proven experience within an Education/Trust environment

Accounts/Finance experience

Attention to detail

Strong numeracy skills

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
