Finance Assistant

Job Role: Finance Assistant
Location: Nottingham/Hybrid Working
Pay rate: Up to £29k DOE
Hours:  Monday-Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
Contract: Ongoing

Harper Recruitment Group are proud to be working in partnership with one of the UK's top employers.  We have an exciting opportunity within our clients Finance team for a Finance Accounting Associate, supporting month end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. 

 Key responsibilities include:

  • Monthly reporting including ONS and FCA 
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations 
  • Support the offshore reconciliation team as point of contact for escalation 
  • Support accounting month end process, preparing journal entries and variance analysis 
  • Perform relevant key controls testing as set out in our risk management system of record  


 What we’re looking for:

  • Experience of balance sheet reconciliations and finance reporting 
  • Quickly get up to speed with finance systems including TSYS and PeopleSoft 
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and manage own time across multiple tasks 
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships within team
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
