Credit Controller

Job role: Credit Controller (10-month FTC)
Salary: £23.5k
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid working)

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for an immediate start?
Do you like the sound of working flexibly from home?

We are looking to hear from experienced Credit Controllers who are confident communicators at all levels, numerate and have good Excel skills.

Duties will include:

• Liaising with clients via telephone and email to discuss payments, credit terms and resolving enquiries.
• Collecting the firm’s debt by telephone, email, and letter within defined guidelines
• Updating and maintaining the CRM database system.
• Escalating issues to the litigation team.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Reviewing daily credit held orders.  
• Building customer and stakeholder relationships.

Skills and Experience required

• Have a strong background in customer service and ideally credit control / sales ledger in a finance environment.
• Good MS Office Excel skills
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent and professional telephone manner

The role would suit someone who is looking for an accounts role within the professional services sector. You will have a flexible approach combined with a curious mind with good Excel skills. Training and support will be provided!
