We are looking for a talented, relationship led Business Development Manager to grow the client base across Nottingham, Derby and Leicester. This is a duel facing role involving client facing activity and building and managing an internal business development pipeline. The successful Business Development Manager will ideally have a professional services background and genuine interest and enthusiasm for driving the expansion and growth strategy of a thriving and highly reputable market leader. 

What will the role involve?

• Identify growth opportunities and generate new business leads 
• Establish a strong network of internal and external regional stakeholders and decision makers
• ???????Research and target clients within emerging markets ??????????????
• Monitor sales information including conversion rates, key targets, pipeline management, budget and trend information 
• Work closely with stakeholders and present new products and services 
• Attend business networking functions and form meaningful connections
• Collaborate and contribute to the business growth strategy whilst assisting with the preparation of pitches and proposals. 

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a similar Business Development Manager role essential – preferably within the professional services sector – Law, Accountants, Architects, Financial Advice.
• ???????Strong understanding of the UK Corporate, Mid- Market and SME environments 
• Experience in dealing with senior management and key stakeholders 
• An entrepreneurial approach to business development 
• Outstanding relationship building skills – a prolific networker
