Business Development Manager
Nottingham
Permanent position, full time hours - 40 per week
Salary - Circa 40k per annum plus bonus OTE Circa 50k
The ideal candidate will have good people skills to work strategically with the Sales Director to ensure the sales and marketing plan proactively supports the development of both existing and new business.
The role includes the management of the Marketing (x3) and Sales teams (x3) as well as developing strong key account relationships with customers to capitalise on market opportunities. The role is well positioned to provide an experienced Line Manager the opportunity to inherit an established team whilst building your own revenue stream.
The successful candidate will split their time between the office and visiting clients on site. You will enjoy building relationships with new and existing clients in person and be a positive advocate for the business.
Duties will include:
- Line Managing a Team of 6 Marketing and Sales Executives
- Driving Sales and Marketing initiatives
- Identifying new client opportunities and lead generation
- Visiting existing and new clients, maximising on all sales opportunities
- Overseeing the management of the company website, on-line presence and social media
- Collaborate with the Sales Director to bring new product ideas to market
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience working in a B2B Sales and Marketing role
- Natural relationship building skills with proven history of gaining market share
- Marketing and analytical project management experience
- Experience of launching new products or product sales
- Strong and inspiring leadership style
