Telecoms Sales Consultant
Basic Salary: £40,000
OTE: £75,000

Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire
A telecoms provider is seeking an experienced Telecoms Sales Consultant to support new business activity and develop existing accounts across its telecoms division. The role involves selling telecoms, VoIP and mobile solutions to a wide range of business customers.
About the Role
• Generate new business across telecoms, VoIP and mobile services
• Develop existing accounts and introduce additional telecoms solutions
• Build long term relationships across SME and mid?market clients
• Manage a structured sales pipeline and progress opportunities through the cycle
• Identify cross sell opportunities within an established customer base
Key Responsibilities
• New business development – generating telecoms, VoIP and mobile sales
• Account management – expanding existing accounts and identifying cross sell opportunities
• Client engagement – building relationships across multiple sectors
• Opportunity qualification – assessing opportunities and maintaining conversion rates
• Sales strategy – adapting approach to different customer types
• Pipeline management – maintaining a healthy pipeline
• Market awareness – understanding telecoms and mobile requirements
• Internal collaboration – working with internal teams to support service delivery
Required Experience
• B2B field sales experience, ideally in telecoms, VoIP or mobile
• Strong commercial drive and motivation to secure new business
• Experience working with SME and mid market customers
• Ability to qualify opportunities effectively and maintain conversion rates
• Positive, adaptable and comfortable in a fast paced environment
