Reporting Analyst

Are you an experienced Analyst looking for a new challenge? We are looking for an excellent communicator with proven reporting and analytical ability to join the Planning team.
You will be responsible for ensuring the legal obligations are met within a heavily regulated financial services organisation.
Duties will include 
•    Accurately Gather and Input Data relating to work activity
•    Data Analysis and Interpretation
•    Prepare Reports manually and through automation
•    Build Dashboards for the operation and rest of the business
•    Collaborate with Business Teams and Leadership
•    Conduct System and Database Audits
•    Taking responsibility for using and promoting best practice
•    Supporting the wider team to follow policy conditions, business rules and procedures effectively
•    Providing a key point of control and collaboration between other NOW: Pensions functions

Skills and experience required 
•    Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF formulas and VBA
•    Working knowledge of Power BI
•    Sound understanding of SQL, including working knowledge of SSMS/Azure Data Studio and ability to write complex queries
•    A proactive attitude and can-do approach to work requirements
•    Familiarity with data management principles and practices, including metadata management and data access technologies
•    Strong Problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
•    Good communication skills, both written and oral
•    Confidence when talking to internal and external stakeholders
•    Highly organised
•    Strong attention to detail
•    Must be a quick learner and able to adapt to change easily
