Job Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk  
Salary: £24,000 
Hours: Monday-Friday – 37.5 hours
Location: Nottingham (NG8)


Harper Recruitment Group are working with a leading global IT provider who are looking for an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team.

Duties will include:

  • Working with the Finance Manager to develop and improve processes
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Month end procedures and ledger management including month end control checks
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
  • Data Entry
  • Supplier statement reconciliations

Skills and experience required:

  • Accounts payable >2 years’ experience in an SME environment – Essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills especially on Excel
  • Team working skills
