Facilities Manager
Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire
40 Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Contract: Temporary
Salary: £30.28/hour
Start Date: ASAP

Harper Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced professional on behalf of our client who is a leading name within the railway industry. As a self-starting Facilities Manager, you will be using your excellent communication and problem solving to lead comprehensive infrastructure, property management and ground maintenance support.  

Duties Include:   

  • Ensuring the highest standards are met on site by: conducting a daily walkaround, chairing monthly tenant meetings and maintaining large industrial equipment
  • Delivering annual facilities plan to ensure grounds maintenance are delivered to a high standard
  • Managing the relationships with all sub-tenants on site and ensuring they meet contractual obligations and adhering to site rules and regulations
  • Delivering full facilities management through sub-contractors
  • Manage projects construction related to the site
  • Working effectively with the Procurement team, Technical Project Managers, Strategy & Sustainability department, Finance team and local council
  • Managing the operational expenditure budget
  • Provide line management for the Office Manager

Required Experiences

  • Property and facilities management experience is essential
  • An understanding of how agricultural sites are managed
  • Planning and prioritising experience
  • A solid understanding and practice of site health & safety and security
  • Managing budgets
  • Taking accountability for end-to-end procurement

Essential skills and Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND in an engineering, supply chain or related discipline
  • Facilities management qualifications
  • A project management qualification would be highly advantageous
  • Problem-solving
  • Strong communicator
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional time management
