Business Development Manager
£25,000-£35,000 DOE + OTE £20,000 (Uncapped) + Great Benefits
Full Time, Permanent

Our client are a global, well established and leading independent infrastructure and private equity investment manager. The Group manages in excess of £2.3 billion raised from a variety of private and institutional investors.

The Retail Sales Team continues to expand. The Team consists of both Field and Office based personnel. The Team’s primary focus is to distribute the companies retail products to FCA authorised financial intermediaries.

Job Specification for Business Development Manager:

- The successful candidate will work in tandem with one of the outbound sales people for the purpose of maximising revenues for defined postcode regions
- Candidate will ideally have 2 – 3 years prior sales experience
- High quality interpersonal and written skills
- A self-starter attitude: motivation to learn/ progress as quickly as possible
- The drive to excel in a target based environment
- The desire and ability to innovate: trial new ways of promoting the business, generating leads and converting cases

Principal Business Development Manager tasks include:

- Ongoing management of existing clients, identification and contact of potential new supporters
- Appointment setting and follow up
- Creation and execution of business plan
- Set stretching personal targets and challenge your business partner to achieve shared goals
- Generation of opportunities and demonstrably adding value through ongoing client support
- Develop understanding of market through telephone and field activity. Use this to enhance both your and the companies proposition in the market place
- Contribute fully to a competitive, collegiate environment
- Together with the other members of the office team, management of the sales office to include dealing with all inbound contact, literature requests, preparation of marketing materials and aiding with planning, implementation and execution of marketing plans
- Continued professional development through completion of market recognised qualifications
